I love good political cartoons too. I was just commenting that these didn't seem all that funny. Compared to Doonesbury or Non-Sequiter, these seem fairly limp, toadly.

Haven't seen Doonesbury in decades. And, what makes you thinks the poster is a Republican? Maybe he/she is Independent? These days, one never knows......assuming, assuming.

That aside, LVT, how are you? Haven't seen you around lately! Cheers!

Sure Reps know how to laugh. They just have to carefull at what they laugh at, so the want be accused of something the're not.

Doonesbury is still doing fine. I wasn't impuning the cartoons as Republican, only in the opinion that they weren't funny. Our Messiah-in-Chief is cool enough to laugh about himself. Did anyone here see his spot on Colbert's broadcast from Iraq? He's funny. (I've been busy bashing Palin in another thread- but I gave it up.)

I've certainly never seen people like Orin Hatch display much of a sense of humor.

OTOH, on the Democrat side Biden is certainly someone to laugh at (but not with.)
