House republicans voted against an Amber type alert for mass shootings that would have simply alerted the affected community.
Gun Lobby Paid Performance Politician Matt Gaetz had this to say.

“It’s because they want you to be afraid of the Second Amendment. It’s because they want you to be afraid of responsible gun ownership.”

“They hope that if they programme you and bombard you long enough, that you’ll hate your own Second Amendment rights, or that you may tattle on your neighbor who is lawfully and rightfully exercising theirs. The American people should not fall for this.”

Not sure how a mass shooting has anything to do with a person lawfully and rightfully exercising their 2A rights. Maybe he is afraid of too many citizens with cell phone cameras showing up to record the good guys with guns standing around.
I need a shower after reading his speech.
