Four Winds Health has an open position in the billing department for a Medical Billing Specialist. Our office is located in Santa Rosa Beach, FL on Hwy 30A. (See address at the bottom of this message.) We operate a group of WellStreet Urgent Care facilities in the Atlanta, GA area.
We are interested in an energic and enthusiastic person possessing the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced,unstructured start-up environment. We need a productive, dependable, and motivated individual to join our billing team.
Qualities needed for this position:
-Knowledge of insurance payers, insurance verification, AR/revenue billing lifecycle, and appealing denied claims
-Excellent computer skills (expertise in Microsoft Office and Billing software)
-Detail-oriented team player
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-CPC CCS of equivalent coding certification is preferred
-Urgent Care billing experience is preferred
The job description includes:
-Billing insurance companies, Medicare, & patients on behalf of WellStreet Urgent Care Centers using our internal software
-Setting up insurance plans within our software
-Working with Revenue Cycle Management to identify and resolve issues related to billing, coding, and the billing system and process flow
-Providing support and direction to clinic staff, providers to improve medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes
