i see where the darvocet can cause myopathy - not sure if that is what you were experiencing or not. since meds can affect each person differently it would really be hard to say - i would just avoid darvocet from now on.


i will admit i haven't been reading this thread, so i don't really know what's going on. i guess i am a bad person, but i didn't want to read a medical question when i am off the clock - had enough of that last week (insert smiling smiley here)

There is something, I think if I remember correctly, called a antogonistic reaction where you get the opposite effect, kinda like it warns on benadryl, this may cause hyperactivity in some patients.

You know, this is scary because if I don't remember this in 10 years or if I'm too old, or recovering from a bad accident, an occurence like this again could be disastrous. Until seacrestk mentioned an actual name, I was unable to even find anything online. Mr. JR almost stayed home this AM to take me to the ER. He and my son were just standing in the kitchen this morning, dumbstruck. :shock: :shock:
