Medicare season is here!

Medicare season is kicking off today! For anyone wanting to ADD or CHANGE a drug plan - Part D, you have from November 15th until December 31st to actually make the change. It becomes effective 1/1/2011.

Also, during this time, a change may be made to a Medicare Advantage Plan with a drug plan for those that had to sign up without a drug plan. A MAPD (Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug) plan may be joined as well.

Our Medicare season is only until December 31st this year. Last year - or this last season where people could join during January - February - March is GONE.

We have to go by Medicare rules - which they change every year.

I know this is a confusing topic for so many dealing with it. I would be happy to help with any questions. I am one of the few wierd peeps that likes dealing in Medicare.

Anyone else needing info on Medicare, you are welcome to call me. It is starting to get busier, although plans cannot be enrolled in or changed until November 15th, the commercials are starting to overload the TV.

I write with Humana, AARP United Health Care and Universal Health Care here in Walton county and and also Wellcare in Bay and other counties to the east. Plans are county specific. Several of my plans have a $0 monthly premium and great benefits.

Of if you are making a trip to WM in DeFunk, please stop and see me at the Humana booth. I am there M-F 9-1.

All those pics of "People of Walmart" are true. I have many I could add myself but I have not taken pics for fear of my life. You just can't make this stuff up!!
