I have yet to make plans, but I want to explore a bit, if I can find someone to love my dogs while I am away.

This is the dilemma!!! I am bypassing a trip to Cannes in March since I have to leave Molly once that month already!

That's the hard part.
We will be looking for a house/pet sitter for June into July, and we don't even know where we will be living!

If I were single, I would apply for this job in a heartbeat. I never thought of it. I could have been a house sitter for people that lived on the coast and I would be at the beach all the time! Oh well, your dogs would be absolutely spoiled rotten by the time you got back and you'd probably hunt me down.... :bicycle:

I'm going to Italy. You guys can go to France. :D

How's this for an intinerary:

Fly into Paris, spend a few days enjoying the museums etc.

High speed train to Provence, spend a week exploring Arles, Avignon, Nice, etc.

Continue down the coast into the north Italian Lake area.

Fly out of Milan

SJ, you can meet up with us at Lake Como.

Well you make it sound so funn. When is the date you are thinking about?

I remember being in a cab in Milan, which was pulled over for speeding. I about freaked out when the two policia approached the car with their uzis in hand looking ready to shoot us. They yelled back and forth with the driver, and I am thinking he is nut-zo, before letting us go without further incident.

I'm thinking about May, that'll get us in when the weather's nice, but before the hoardes of summer tourists arrive. I'm not taking any more vacations in the fall, as the hurricanes here at home have almost de-railed a few of my past trips.

I'm sure you completely misunderstood the whole gun totting police thing; being that it was Milan, I'm sure the Uzis where mearly the latest fashion accessory from the Dolce and Gabbana Fall Line -the theme that year was "Fashion inspired by Il Duce". Belle Figura!

Let it never be said that travel isn't a mind-broadening experience.
