Forgot to say that was last year's Barney's window; don't know what's in store this year but Mango will report, I'm sure!

Well, if we went to Pittsburg to see Warhol, we'd have to visit you, too, since we were in the neighborhood...that's a win/win.
I read an article just a few days ago about Barney's window dresser. He's an extremely creative man, but what stress that job is! Barney's Christmas window has to be more than just "a" window; it has a reputation for being the most spectacular window in the city and the show must go on, year after year. I think the guy's a genius for the marvelous off-beat windows he comes up with.
I never thought about Warhol one way or another until I saw a program on his life on PBS and I got interested in his illustrations and then his paintings. I love his illustrations of shoes the most (I wonder why ;-)). Whenever we buy another condo, I'm going to get a print of Venus, the purple one. Wouldn't that be a great for the beach?

I've got plenty of sparkle again this year, but it will have to wait till tomorrow since this Mango is beat to the pit.
I also have some special surprises, especially for Minnie. The Disney store on 5th Avenue rocks, and is just as much funn as FAO's, if not more.
Of course I have windows too. I also think the tree this year was one of the most beautiful I have seen yet.

Oh, I'm so jealous. I always loved the Disney store and was so sad when my kids outgrew it. Rest well Mango...looking forward to the pics!
