It's time to start a new year of good lunches. Ms. Lisa and Charlie are open for suggestions for lunches that might make you all smile!
Monday: Red Beans and Rice with Corn Bread. $5.98 It's washday somewhere!;-)
Tuesday: Fried Catfish with Homemade Cheese Grits and Hush puppies. $5.98 I am a Tennessee girl so catfish is a personal favorite.
Wednesday: Homemade Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese. $5.98 Comfort food!
Thursday: Baked Chicken with Green Beans New Potatoes and Mac and Cheese. $5.98;-) My children would love this meal!!!
Friday: The first Modica Market Grouper Po Boy New Year!!! $7.98

I just want to say how good it was to be visited by some of the great names in SoWal! I truly get the celebrity sightings at the Deli counter!
For those traveling I hope all went well and for you all who are here for the slow spell let us know what sounds good to you! Come in for a cappuccino or just a good cup of coffee, I am loving our new 8oz baby cups.

I loved seeing you guys today!!! The cat fish was great and yes I ate cheese grits!
I hope some of you were still around when Mr. Modica came to make signs. He is looking great and as sharp as ever!
Ms. Lisa has some yummy home made red velvet cup cakes in the case!
Tomorrow is soup and sandwich day. I know what I will be bringing home for supper!

It was delicious. Best grilled cheese eva! Was that 3 or 4 cheeses blended in there? The soup was wonderful as well and the leftover portion is in the fridge for tomorrow.

Three cheeses, Swiss, Provolone and American. I love when she adds Pepper Jack but she doesn't use it on the lunch specials.
That was the best Tomato soup I have ever had! I don't know what she did to it but watching her creation process this morning was a wonder to behold! Then out comes two big trays of sandwiches and the best soup eva!!!

Thanks, what was the bread, it was just as equally wonderful and it went down so fast it could have been wonderbread for all I know.

I can't wait to try the soup tomorrow after it's flavors have meshed in the fridge all night. Actually now that I'm talking about it, it may not make it to dawn.

Did the soup make it?
The bread is something she gets for paninis and it is only that good when you grill it.
Today is my kids favorite day. Potatoes and Mac and Cheese with Chicken and Green Beans.

The Italian wedding soup is awesome! Ms. Lisa did a killer job for a first time attempt! I honestly love this soup and have never had better.
The Mac and cheese she used in the lunch special was her home made like she makes it at the house. Yummmmmmmy!
I think the Grand Princess bought the last cup cake but there were still some Teramisu bites left when I came home.
