Modica Market Lunch Specials 1/12/09 - 1/16/09

I have the specials for this week. We planned ahead for some cooler days so I hope you all like it!
Monday: Cuban Sandwich with chips. $5.98 Lisa has also made Red Beans and Rice. $4.98 It's wash day at my house, that's for sure!
Tuesday:Chicken and Dumplings. $5.98 This is a meal, not just a cup!!!
Wednesday: Chili with Grilled Cheese. $5.98 Aside from the Tomato Soup last week, I cant think of a thing that sounds better!
Thursday:Homemade Turkey and Dressing with Green Beans and Cranberry sauce. $5.98 I don't get dressing at Christmas so yummy!
Friday: Grouper Po Boy with chips. $7.98 Call early if you know you might have a later lunch. ;-)

Any ideas for Saturday will be considered by Ms. Lisa and Charlie.

There was still some chili left when I headed home and just a few grilled cheese. We appreciate the good lunch!

It's Turkey Day at Modica!!! She cooked 2 nice birds and any one who is around for the real T. Day can tell you how good the dressing is!
It's too cold to be out and about this morning but if you just have to be, come by for coffee or hot chocolate. I'm having a good foam week so a cappuccino might be nice!

I love it when we sell out on the lunch special early but I hate telling people no. Sorry if any of you were among the ones I had to be mean to.
Hubby is grumbling about me loving Snowbirds more than him! LOL! I do when I'm at work! Those sweet people from the frozen North are part of the reason I get to live in the sunny state of Florida.
The Pineapple Upside down cake is just wonderful!!!
Tomorrow is Fish Friday! Come early or Call! Ms. Lisa will start at 11:00 am and keep frying grouper till they are either gone or 2:00.

Come get a little caffeine and warm up with us, Charlie has a table or two inside to make visiting a lot nicer! I still think his cappuccino is better than mine but I'm pretty good at it!
