Yes, I know this is not on 30A but it's not too far past Pier Park on Front Beach. Found this place right after they opened last year and have been almost a dozen times. The BBQ is Alabama style and absolutely delicious. Over the course of 12 plus pulled pork sandwiches there might have been a total of 2 tablespoons of fat. Their coleslaw is great and their potato salad is out of this world. Not too much mayo! A sandwich, 2 sides and drink is $9.50 or sandwich only is around $6. Best deal is you can add 3 oz of pork, chicken or turkey or 2 ribs or 4 wings for $3! Catfish was not my favorite. They cook everything fresh every day and when they are out they are out....on Sunday call ahead. The church crowd wipes them out.

Say hi to owner Ryan from bham, now a local at the beach. Moes BBQ brings great BBQ to the beach!! We did a story on sowal.com to announce their opening last year. Good BBQ in Florida is hard to find. This place is excellent and the sides are wonderful.
I ran into one of the owners at the old Grayt coffee house in Grayton about year and half ago. They where just over from Mobile looking a place for a new store. One requirement is for a franchisee to say they will open early daily and start the cooking and stay till it's all,sold...that's what makes it so good, everyone is dedicated..
Thanks for the info. As much as we have talked with Ryan we didn't know that. That must be why MOE's pork doesn't have that "porky" taste when it gets cooler! I love the concept.
