JB-

Congrats. Mine is 14 months and I haven't slept a full night since. Hope you got a "sleeper". Mine is nocturnal.

Man, we're having a a tough time with the sleeping thing. I don't know if it's colic or gas or what, but he has wailed all night for four nights in a row. I've probably had six hours sleep in three days. Last week, he would sleep for a good two hours after a feeding, so hopefully this is just a phase and will get better.

Wait until they are teenagers and driving -- right now you are in control, but once that happens, you will have MANY sleepless nights waiting for that car to pull into the drive!! (Nobody told me that before!) Good luck! Hope you can get a good night's sleep soon!

Good point. It makes me glad we have a boy. I could not imagine having a teenage daughter, and watching her get in a car with some young, horny hot-rodder and drive off.

As for the sleeping thing, I think I am going to have my wife do a couple shots of Makers Mark before nursing him the next time :laughing1

Yes. Thanks for asking. A healthy baby boy named Sam. He is just over two weeks old.

No doubt he will pursue the favorite form of rebellion in the state of AL and become an Auburn fan unlike his parental unit.

Numbers 2 and 3 are piercings and voting Democratic.

All my dad's side of the family are Aubs, as is my son's namesake. They tried for years to bring me into the fold. But I grew up in Tuscaloosa during the 60's and 70's, so it would have been hard for me to be anything but a hardcore UA fan.

I don't hate Auburn. Tennessee, however.........

Yeah - a hurricane named Dennis should flood Bobby Bowden Field instead.

Not to wish any bad luck on my Talahassee/FSU friends, but that would be fine with me. It would put SoWal, and Tuscaloosa, on the west side of the storm.

Hang in there and keep the battery charged on your laptop.
