I've heard that. What if a snake is already in your yard though? I'm guessing they won't slither out past the moth balls? I'm afraid my furbabies will eat them. I really don't like snakes.

You put the mothballs on 3 sides of your yard/garage/basement, and they crawl out the 4th side.

There are two concrete life-size owls in my yard, and I have seen a snake less than five feet away from one, so I'm not sure that works very well. Plus, snakes have bad eye-sight.

Works for skunks too. We had one under our porch and after he left we put moth balls down so he wouldn't come back!
