I've heard that. What if a snake is already in your yard though? I'm guessing they won't slither out past the moth balls?I'm afraid my furbabies will eat them. I really don't like snakes.

I hear that placing a plastic Owl on the corner of your roof will keep snakes out of your yard as the snakes are afraid that owls will eat them.

There are two concrete life-size owls in my yard, and I have seen a snake less than five feet away from one, so I'm not sure that works very well.
