m1a1mg, I do get why there are so many FSU haters. I don't get why people turn to hate so easily if you have a differing opinion. I am being attacked personally by you guys and you don't even know me. An entire university is being attacked because they win football games! When FSU starts losing football games all this hate toward FSU will stop. IN other words the motivations behind all this hate is wrong. You can hate FSU all you want for winning football games but all these personal attacks are just wrong. Lets go fishing tomorrow and you can find out more about the person you are accusing of all sorts of things. I'm serious!

For the last time. I don't hate FSU. Never have, never will. I simply take exception with their handling of student athletes. Despite mounds of evidence presented to you regarding the handling of indiscretions at other universities, you can't stop yourself from blabbering the same old statement about "hating". No one here, least of all me, "hates" FSU. What I don't care for is that old mentality of athletes being able to do no wrong.

And no, I'd prefer not to go fishing with you. I don't want you to think I "hated" the fish away.

m1a1mg, Just go back and read all your posts then tell me what word better describes the incessant accusatory tone not to mention personal attacks on anyone questioning your opinions and the motives thereof. You can not help but to belittle people you do not know, personally attack another persons character that you do not know and completely trash an entire University System and everyone associated with it.

I try not go to that level and invited you to a fishing trip instead and how do you respond? Another personal attack. You have made my point again and again. The truth does not matter to you. Facts and evidence do not matter to you. Your motivations are simple in that you need to believe that FSU is a dirty rotten program because they win football games period otherwise you would post about all the other programs out there that have ongoing current problems.

As someone who is largely indifferent toward college football and grew up in the Midwest, I prefer to direct what little hate I have for the sport to the true evil- Notre Dame.

And I actually was a college athlete, something I suspect most of the people here can't say. I believe that participation in intercollegiate athletics is a privilege and not a right, and you earn the right to compete for your school by maintaining adequate academic progress and largely following your school's honor code. (I'm realistic enough to say that, yeah, underage students drink, but that any drinking should not involve driving, go so far as to impact grades or get in the way of practice or game.)

I see people like Winston and my reaction tends to be "people like you mean the rest of us can't have nice things" because there have been so many times I've heard of people going off on the evils of college sports as a whole based on bad behavior in football and MBB. For good or bad, he's representing me and what I've done to a broader audience and I don't like how he's representing.
