First I want to say that I realize how anyone supporting FSU and Jimbo Fisher is being judged and what I am going to type next will add me to that category even though you do not know me, Jimbo or FSU. Many of you on this website are very good at judging people you do not know.

None of you know anything except what you are reading and listening to. When did the media become such perfect conveyers of the truth? Social media is so reactive to everything that people text/spin/send just to get a reaction!

Shady boosters at FSU? Where is that coming from? Where has anyone said that FSU boosters are behind all of this? Are you just making these assumptions out of thin air now because you need to be an FSU hater? If not why would you not attack the entire college and pro football culture like you are doing with FSU? Westpoint, Harvard, Princeton, UF, Auburn, Alabama, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Miami and I could go on and on about every single athletic program has current problems. Georgia suspended Gurley because he was paid for his signatures. There are facts on each accusation to either support or contradict but you are choosing to only read about the accusations. Please do not list all the accusations because we already know them thank you. If you can not help yourself then please make some effort to find out the truth.

I have just one question about the virtue of truth. How many of you really make the time and effort to find out the truth ALWAYS? I will admit to you that I already know the answer because I make the very same mistake myself. If it is something you want to believe you will read and listen to what supports your belief. I am not trying to change your minds about FSU but I really like the little saying that my Granny Pearl use to say, "Please clean around your own back door before complaining about mine"!

Okay, now that you have read my earlier post and the fire and rope is being prepared I am going to jump in a little further. I am beginning to realize that all of you are either athletic haters, football haters or just haters of any other program that is successful. Let me also say that I blame all of you more than I do the media because you "need" for FSU to be guilty and hanged and are reading and listening and watching and commenting like never before in the history of this sport. Your reactions are symptoms of an unhappy society and our need to hate something. The Seminole football program is providing you all with a reason to be engaged in something to hate and our 24 hour media has no problems in further supporting this behavior because it sells. We are all being manipulated by our own weaknesses. I am no different than you in this regard. I know it is a fantasy but I wish we could live and let live and realize that we all have things that "need cleaning" up including me, you, Jimbo, Jameis Winston and every other football player. Yes, we ALL have made mistakes...

Wow you are really working hard here. No program is perfect but some are better than others and right now I can't think of any that are worse than FSU. I know one local Seminole alum who gave up his team about 15 years ago because he was embarrassed by the criminal behavior under Bobby Bowden.

I would rather be 0-12 with a coach and players I can be proud of than have a national championship with Fisher at the helm. Did you see he is blaming ESPN for his troubles? I guess you agree.

Look in the mirror and ask yourself why you have to work so hard to defend your team. Are you really that delusionole that you think it isn't imploding for good reason?

Bentley Williams, I just looked in the mirror as you asked and this is what I found looking back, a human being! What you seem not able to accept is that just because another human disagrees with you or makes mistakes does not make them evil or malicious or threatening to you. Have your opinion of all things FSU including me but please do not forget to clean around your own back door every once in a while. You seem to be the one working very hard at hating so if it makes you feel better keep it coming...

To all of you FSU haters (notice how that rhymes with gators). I have some good news and some bad news for you. Okay first the news that you will like very much: FSU is not perfect and has made mistakes in a very complicated process that includes very young student athletes, lawyers, successful athletic program including coaches and administrators, social media and finally the 24 hour local and national media. Now the bad news that you will try and run away from: Neither is the University and football team that you live and die for! I do not have to cut and paste all the problems at all the universities that are presently dealing with sexual assaults on their campuses. It is a national problem. If you choose not to believe this then you are part of the problem. All of us need to talk more to our children about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and sexual behavior. I expect all of you that are FSU haters will deny having any problems with your children who have chosen to go to the perfect college. All I can tell you is that FSU or Harvard is not in that category but neither is your university.

We all find ourselves living in a Reactionary Society who tends to migrate toward the most negative things that you can find out there and the media is more that happy to focus or maybe even spin it a little to help you salivate in our proclivity toward negativity. I think Bentley Williams is correct in that we should all look in the mirror more often. Where Bentley and most of you are wrong about me is that I am not defending FSU. I believe that FSU has faced a very complex and difficult process in dealing with student conduct brought to a very negative light in part because of the very nature of competition from other fan bases. I will agree with you that FSU has failed in this process but not because of corruption. FSU is probably behind the curve in dealing with this new age of social media and it's effects on the general public's ability to make instant judgement without facts or truth. FSU may or may not be behind in dealing with student conduct allegations but I am pretty certain it will be primary focus for them going forward. I am guessing about this but I believe that going forward they will choose to take away student privileges rather than face this unbelievable circus I call "accusatory reaction syndrome with zero effort in seeking evidence and facts". Apparently, we all need to react negatively to something in this thing we call Life. We are all conspiracy theorists, judge and jury and executioner. Why is it come to this I have no idea but I do believe we must be an unhappy species. Bentley, I am looking in the mirror of society and I think I have found your monster...

I think the point is, the FSU program is turning into the Miami of the 80s. I take no pleasure in seeing it happen, because I thing college football is better when the Florida schools are all playing well. If you have a strong leader and a kid goes of the res that is one thing, hell today, even a couple of them, but to have your star continually be involved in issues and as a coach, as a leader, to not voluntarily take the guy off of the field, screams win at all cost. With everything going on in the NFL right now, Jameis is even going to have to watch himself at that level too. It isnt just FSU, but the attitude coming from the entire program is reminiscent of a couple of Jimmy Johnson teams 25 years ago...and people love to see those types of teams crucified. I will go on record and say FSU might win 8 games next year, the arrogance negates the championships in the eyes of many, many parents, so I dont see the top 10 recruiting classes coming through. The guy is creating a questionable program and legacy.
