Michigan but someday in SoWal as well
I went to Italy this summer and there's a drink called an Aperol spritz that is a bittersweet summery drink that people seem to be drinking up in Italy, especially before dinner. Aperol is a liquor that's like Campari but a just a little bit sweeter. The Aperol spritz is 2 parts prosecco, 1 part Aperol, and a spritz of sparkling water. It's soooo goood (and a pretty summery drink too because it's ends up being a rich peach color). I was able to find Aperol in Michigan, even though I never heard of it before this summer. It would be a very fine drink to be able to find in SoWal. Just sayin...

That's a damn good looking drink. I'll take three.

I forgot to say that you should also include a slice of orange. If you like Campari, this is a lighter, more refreshing version. That photo is exactly what it looks like. I find that if I add too much prosecco or sparkling water, I need to add a little more Aperol to get it to taste just right. I never heard of Aperol before this summer, but I'm now a fan.
