Reported by Gene Parrot, WYHB News 39
Thursday, May 04, 2006 ---- A Nooga News Hawk reports the missing mannequin, "Bob", has been located on Frazier Avenue at the Veteran's Bridge. Chattanooga police were on the scene and had set up a "crime scene."
A second Nooga News Hawk, Antoinette, says, "Saw your story on BOB, from the Lookouts Field, on my drive into work this morning ... I looked up and thought ... isn't that an unusual place for yet another one of those fake people".... As you get on the on ramp to go onto the Veterans Bridge ... coming from Coolidge ... that little wall to the left .. is where he is sitting. Someone was taking his picture this morning ...."
When police arrived, they found Bob not breathing and was pronounced dead at the scene. One officer said Bob was "stone cold" and his head had been severed. He said, It was nasty, there was dust everywhere."
The body will likely by sent to the Hamilton County Medical Examiners office for autopsy and super gluing before being returned to Bellsouth Park. ---- Comment on this story
