i'm sitting here thinking - if you have to ask if a person should be your friend, the answer is immediately NO ! :rotfl:

I am just having funn. I know you have watched shows, maybe like Regis and Kelly or something along those lines, where the audience selects a couple's entire wedding plans. I think it is funn to have you guys do the same for something far less serious than wedding arrangements. Come on Audie, everyone is doing it. :funn:

believe it or not sj, i don't watch any talk shows - i can say that proudly. i usually only watch monsters hd, or discovery, learning, history channels. i will be glad to get back to the nasa channel this weekend when the shuttle launches - i have sure missed watching those ! and i don't know, something about myspace just creeps me out. i get a bad feeling from it, so i am avoiding it.

I agree with you about myspace, Audie, it can be creepy. I've had a myspace for awhile now just so I can monitor my daughter's myspace. She and her friends have a lot of fun with it, and besides some of her "dumb" friends posting pictures of their teenage drinking parties (I guess some parents don't look at myspace) there's been no trouble. I think SJ and Kimmi are just having a little funn and enlightening us on yet another subject. By the way, thanks for the musical selections, SJ. Maybe now that I'm learning something new I'll use myspace for something other than spying on my teenager.;-)

MySpace is well worth it for the music alone. Once you find a band you like, look through their list of friends and you will likely find other bands which you like. It is a great way to see explore different types of music without cost.

You guys are too much! You're making me want to have an actual myspace that's cool. I can hear my husband already..."first it's SoWal.com NOW you're into myspace.com...WTF!" :rotfl: Oh well, a girls gotta have some funn in her life.

I know exactly what you mean, Audie. I feel the same way. Now I keep hearing stories about how potential employers are 'Googling' their applicants to see if they're on MySpace, FaceBook, etc. Sometimes what you put on those sites can keep you from getting a job.

The other part of the news stories is always about how outraged the kids and their parents are when they find out they're getting turned down for a job for that very reason. If you want to play, you might pay!

Except for my Sowal friends, I'm pretty much turned off by most people I meet. :rotfl: :rotfl: So why invite more people into my life via cyberspace? There's a lot of weirdos out there.

I see your points MKH and audie, but I sure wish I had had access to this when my kids were teens.

I glance at my daughter's myspace every now and then and trust me, Miss Kitty, it could turn your hair prematurely gray what goes on there.
