Saw Stephen Stills play way back when I was in HS. I still remember tearing up. Neil is not coming to TX???? Boo Hiss

A wonderful place to see Neil (and Brruuuuce, and many others) is Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
This is an outdoor theater up in the foothills, set into a natural rock formation.
Have seen Neil there several times, but the last time, in 2000, he recorded an album from it, it has one of the best versions I've ever heard of Cowgirl in the Sand.
Neil Young and Friends - Live At Red Rocks

I am sorry yet glad that the site is busy. I was able to hear the whole album, but that was at 8 am this morning. I think I read that it will be free-streaming for a week or so, but I am not sure.
He put together the album very fast, and while I think his own vocals are a bit weak here and there, he has a lot of backup singers, and the lyrics are strong. There is also a heartrending version of America the Beautiful.

CSNY Thu 08/10/06 Atlanta, GA Philips Arena

this works for me

I missed the "Y" part. I saw the CSN mentioned by someone else, and did not read your post thoroughly enough to see the Y.

Tickets go on sale manana! I am there, unless I have to buy the $200 tickets  Prices vary from $50-$200.

Thanks, Cil. I was not able to log on the other day because the sites were jammed with so many people.
