New Apartments in Destin Planned??

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about any new apartments being built in the near future in Destin. It seems with the for-sale market going through a period of correction, the rental market might seem more attractive to developers in the area. Any thoughts?

Additionally where do people who work in Destin rent (Crestview, Defuniak, Niceville)?

There are alot of apartments for sale and lease in Destin.

As far as pre-construction apartments I don't know of any at this time.

No not looking for a place to rent just wanted to see if anyone had heard anything about any new appartment developments.

I was curious as to why there is a lack of apartment complexes in the Destin area. The obvious answer is that price of land is so high that financially speaking an apartment development would never pencil out. But with the condo craze sinking fast there has to be some increased opportunity for the rental product.
