I was starting to think I had been dreaming that we had gone after the Taliban in Afghanistan after 9/11, then kind of forgot about it when Iraq and Saddam became an easier target. Whew.

Even 'W' says in his new memoir that he regrets the whole WMD with Iraq. He still thinks invading it was a good idea though.

I regret everything we ever did in Iraq. Saddam Hussein was the cork in the bottle that contained Iran.

I watched the movie, "Brothers" yesterday. I can't imagine how many of our soldiers are trying to live day to day back home and can't because of the atrocities they've seen in war. I cried all day. I wouldn't wish that kind of pain on anyone.

I know this post isn't on a political slant, but watching that movie really brought it home the reality that our military live every day, especially those on the front lines.
