Even with the consensus of Sowal and the rest of the U.S. chiming in on how "cute" the Portuguese Water Dog is, people, please... take some time to read up on all of this particular dog's specific characteristics, so adoptive parents get the right information on compatibility and suitability for that particular breed with thier family.
Hate to se the Portugese Water Dog Rescue become overwhelmed in the next few months due to lack of research!.

Dude, it's a cute puppy pic to brighten up a gloomy rainy day!
It doesn't change my dog ownership plans in any way.
People do need to realize that a dog is a 24/7 10-15 year commitment before getting one though. Makes me so mad when they don't plan ahead and abandon a dog.
