Little Fokkers (I can't wait- may go today!), Gullivers Travels?

It is freezing out so the movies sound good!

Haven't seen either but if you like Ben Stiller you will probably like a 3rd movie about nothing with an all-star cast. Jack Black is unable to make a bad movie, so that would be my choice. Or Tron if you like science fiction effects movies, and/or are very high - which brings you back to Jack Black. Maybe a double header.

We saw the latest Narnia movie on Christmas Eve and weren't thrilled with it. It was okay but not nearly as entertaining as the first ones. Has anyone seen Secretariat yet?

Gullivers is OK at best. Special effects well done, story pretty weak. Avatar revisited, on a smaller scale. Pun intended.

Based on what I'm hearing, I think I should have seen True Grit.

LOVED Secretariat. But I am from KY and grew up with this horse as my hero, instead of movie stars and boy one-hit-wonders. I was an eat/breathe/sleep horse kid, and my bedroom wall was covered with newspaper and magazine clippings about Secretariat. I don't know if people unlike me would love it- it is an amazing story.

Just saw The Black Swan and The King's Speech--they were both great--many award nominations from both of those movies. The Little Fockers sounds funny, but totally predictable, I may have to see that later.

Me too! You don't have to be a Secretariat or horse fan to love that movie. Classic family movie.
