I had a wonderful dinner last night at my favorite local dive Mexican restaurant. It was the last time in this location as they have a new building across the street. I was/am sad that the old ambiance will not be there. I realize they needed more space, but love that old feeling. Guess I must just deal with change. Do you prefer old and character or new and splashy???

Everything they said above. Although I've been a Floridian most of my life, I realize that so much of Florida (with the exceptions of St. Augustine and perhaps Pensacola) are just not really old... ya know what I mean? Perhaps it's the hurricanes that seem to wash us away every decade or so...
