You mean a deck like this? I know of a Gulf Front lot priced at $1.9M and she really wants to sell. I think these pods cost around $8,000 - $10,000.

Maybe we can get a group together- how many of us do you think this place will hold??

Saw a show recently on History Channel where they are using shipping containers and turning them into offices and apartments - they have a whole city somewhere in England (Container City)

how 'bout gulf view, or a few blocks back from the gulf? then we make it affordable and make it an interval ownership deal with several owners. may as well make it a pretty nice double wide unit with above ground pool ...

New temporary & disposable beach cottages. Forget about insurance. Buy a lot, and build this little cottage. You can assemble it in two days. :D :funn:I laugh, but I may be on to something here.
Sign me up! I love them. Just a smaller version of the prefab houses that are getting increasingly popular, and I love those! They have a great look.

These are prefab and are shipped to you for you to connect together. I doubt you will find a builder around here to build anything where he could profit no more than $2500. If you are handy you could build something yourself.

How many people could sleep in there??? I can see two bunk beds going in, sleeping four peeps. They come in different sizes and most do not require building permits.

those remind me of the little huts my hubby and our friend wanted to build over at the in-laws. it had a space heater and retractable roof for star-gazing i forget what they were officially called.
