One of Tommy Bahama's biggest things they focus on is their annual New Years Eve party. Typically a package deal that includes multi-course dinner, free flowing champagne, live entertainment, and even one of those Tommy Bahama silk shirts. I've done two of them in Texas, it's a huge draw.

Near the ATL and in SoWal as often as possible
We have consistently been disappointed with the special New Year's Eve menus everywhere, including SoWal. They never measure up to the regular menus and on top of that they are more expensive.

So I cook a nice dinner and then we go out or put on pj's and watch movies.

I agree I don't know why places don't stick to their regular menu..so you know what to expect.

Thanks so much Beach Princess for such kind words and support. What makes me the happiest is to hear the service was inpecable....I will certainly share this with the staff. Doug of course will be glad to hear the food was excellent....and Jamie will bow to the atmosphere....wait till you see what "The Shadowman" :ninja: does for Mardi Gras!
    More about that later.;-)

Come back to dine when those decorations are up....should be a week.

    Thanks again!!!!
    Kat:welcome: BACK!

We've had the most awesome New Year's Eve dinners for the last two years at the Smiling Fish Cafe'. George has good lunches all year 'round, but the guy is a fabulous chef and makes some remarkable dishes!
