he's a little taller than I am. In flat feet, i can look up at him, shoes we're close to the same. If I venture to wear heels, I'm a little taller.

I know what you mean. I'm 5'8" and I dated a guy once that was probably 2 inches shorter than me. He was the nicest guy and really liked me a lot but I just could not handle the height difference. It was just weird hugging and looking down at his head.

I dated a girl in school that was 4'11".

I know what you mean. I didn't have a requirement list with hair color, eye color, etc that I wanted, just a guy who was a little taller. I guess it's just my "thing." I was looking through a photo album in a doctor's office once and there was a picture of a husband and wife with their child, the woman was taller (waaay taller!) and she was standing behind her husband, who was holding the kid, and she had her arms wrapped around them both! There's absolutely nothing wrong with a taller woman, it was just funny.
