My comments were about the Seaside Shades as well. I've been to the other Shades near 98 and had a good experience, although no food...;-)

Are they the same ownership, because they are totally different. I guess they would have to be the same owners right?

Yes, same owners. We talked to one of them Saturday at lunch. I think we get such good service because we're regulars - like twice a month, year-round. I'll have to admit that I don't like the service at the tables. We always sit at the bar - totally different experience.

Well, whether we like it or not, all of the low-rise establishments at Seaside will eventually be history, according to one post one this board. Then there will be just one Shades.

Horrible thought, isn't that, about the low-risers at Seaside going the way of the wind? I hope it doesn't happen.
