Southern Star (Downtown Meat & 3 Blue Plate Special)
Boathouse Grill (on the river incredible view)
Northshore Grill (Northshore at Collidge Park)
Stickey Fingers (Downtown)
Tony's Pasta (on the bluff overlooking the river incredible view)
Steve's Landing (30min north of Nooga at a marina)

Pizza:

Lupi's (Downtown)
Pisa Piza (Northshore at Coolidge Park)
Brick Oven Grill (Hixson - 10 north of Downtown)
Mellow Mushroom (Downtown - not locally owned but owned by hippys)


Mexican:

Tortilla Factory (Downtown)
La Altenia (Downtown)
La Margaritas (North Chattanooga)

Chinese:

Formosa (Hixson 10 miles north of Downtown)

Aretha Frankensteins

I also agree with the others mentioned above! Hard to narrow it down.

Yes I will be coming in 2005.

My Favs are...

Fine Dinning: Southside Grill

Affordable: Boat House Grill or Northshore Grill

Sushi: Either one they are both awesome

Pizza: Lupi's

Itallian: Tony's Pasta

Coffee and Deserts: Rembrants

Totally forgot about breakfast and yes Aretha Frankensteins is awesome. Located on the Northshore is Sushi Hippy country :D

All are kid friendly except Southside or any of the other fine dinning.

Thanks - we ate at Tony's and loved it. I will check out some others for sure.

I liked that Bluff view location and was thinking about staying in one of the old houses up there. Any suggestions?

I also like a small, old boutique hotel downtown with a view if possible (doesn't everyone?).
