I don't care who is in the oval office. If he made an agreement that is distasteful, grow a pair and man up rather than acting like a petulant child who didn't get his way.

One has to ask...how can he ever be trusted going forward? He flat out lied. It's the grown up version of having your fingers crossed behind your back.

Presidents don't get to choose what laws do and do not apply to them. That's what Dictators do...

Always blaming Bush...can't you Ladies and Gentleman accept that your guy is flawed...he isn't who he said he was, he has imperfections, he is not THE ANSWER., he is not the HOPE..he isn't the CHANGE...he is nothing more than a politician with a Chicago Education.

Isn't he using a signing statement as it is intended, not as a way to completely counteract the legislation - which is what he criticized Bush for?

He used the statements to note his objections on the basis of unconstitutionality, then said he would work with Congress to address those issues. Quite different then using the statements as a way to sidestep the process and make policy.

I don't see any flip-flop or lying, just following the rules as they are intended.

Right here!
I love listening to liberals reconcile the broken promises of their man in the White House.

He didn't say he wouldn't do it. What he said was that he wouldn't do it. It makes more sense when spoken in tongues.

I loved listening to conservatives trying to reconcile all the promises GWB kept while he was in the white house.

..and while they both attempt to justify the failures of their chosen leaders I like to sit back and enjoy the irony of it all.
