That is so kind and I am only happy to answer 'newbie questions'. About the life jackey, nope, I don't use one. First, I free dive down and explore the bottom which the jacket would inhibit.

I have a new set of fins, which unfortunately came in from the Internet and are a bit big, but I may try to make them work. Tamales sound wonderful. It's after 12:15 as I read this and I'm just thinking how great it would be to have a midnight delivery right now
