Office Depot makes me angry.
I order stuff from their website for the office, and then they always do a follow-up call from MY "Personal Customer Service Representative"... who is calling to remind me that they have special deals and discounts to offer, and I should remember to check with them before placing my order to receive these savings! :roll:
I have told them repeatedly that I do not want or need a representative because most of the time, the offers they have are on things I don't buy from them and because it's a time-wasting nuisance to sit on the phone and listen to their shpiel. I mean, heck, that's why I order online to begin with! To cut out having to talk to someone!
I'm always polite, but have gotten to where I stop them in the middle of their (scripted) introduction and just say look, we're not interested, would you please make a note not to call again? Last time, the guy got really snarky with me, and said "Oh, yeah, because I can see how it's a big inconvenience to save money..." WTH? :shock:
