Officially first day of fall!

As of 10:10 p.m. CST it is officially the first day of Fall. Someone failed to let fall now it should be cooling off though. Luckily it appears we have some of that coming soon, like this weekend. Welcome fall. Now if it would cool off so the leaves would change.

I think it's gonna be a nipply 90 here today. Y'all think of me....we're doing a "drive by shooting" at the NH. Peeps drive thru and get their flu shots without ever leaving their car.

This morning was simply glorious! Bright sunshine with a cool breeze off the bay. We're supposed to reach 90 later, but this morning was wonderful.

90 ish here today too! I like fall but don't like what follows it. I'd really like to go from fall to spring.

Lovely morning, but too danged hot now! I am welcoming Fall this year and I usually like for Summer to drag on a bit. I am a little irritable with Summer right now.

Sun is coming up later and that is going to mess with me a bit, too.

however, Oct is always warm. but gorgeous. As long as it isn't August, I'm not complaining.

so it won't be a balmy 64 then. hmmm.... should the hermit crabs come inside? they have had such a wondrous hot and balmy back porch summer. as soon as I bring 'em in they are going straight into semi-hibernation. they have been so active all summer - heat and all. thanks to Ralph the Canuck who built a proper summer cabin for 4 spoiled rotten hermies.
