Yes, I remember! I loved that sale. I can see maybe doing what you did. Just not ready for the garage thing again. I said never, but you know what they say about saying never...maybe someday. I still have stuff I could get rid of, but I made a good dent last weekend. But, you're right...it never ends.
Yes, I remember the photo sorting thing too. I did get that done. They're all organized in file boxes and labeled so the kids will know one day who the peeps are in some of those pics. Now, I need to go through all the photos on the computer upstairs and either get them printed, deleted, or sent to photobucket (do they still exist) or something like that. I'm afraid it will crash and I'll lose 'em. I use my laptop now, but there's a ton of crap on that other computer.

computer pix are out of control!!! I do like google/picassa as a way to store pix and albums. it just takes time to do them, organize, and delete ones you just don't need. most are on my hard drive, occasionally backed up.

Teresa, you got me to thinking. I should set my sights on the Seaside yard sale in October! My friend Tivoli is probably going to have a table and surely she'd let a Hoosier neighbor share a table with her. And what a perfect excuse for coming down to SoWal. Not like anyone needs an excuse for that.

:love:You'll feel so liberated! After I finished all that, I worked in the yard for about an hour and a half. Whew!! I am one tired old woman! But, I'm so happy my closet looks great (Kitty was my inspiration) and I can find stuff.
When are you going to Sowal? Dates please.

:lolabove:...and my closet is still a freakin' mess. Can you come over this weekend and light a fire under my behind???

My garage is so full of crap it is about to bust open!!! I just keep putting everything I don't want anymore out there. I think I may have a garage sale this coming weekend. I hate to have them but last time I had one I made $600 in one day. I have a bunk bed and a dresser etc. that Connor outgrew. It will be hell but I will have cool beverages on hand to get me through it! :D I really need to get rid of more! I have way too much stuff after living in the same house for 20 years! It will be nice to have the garage back for sure!!

Oooooh, CoS, I dislike garage sales!!!! But, the payoff can be good.

I am officially ADD...I have made progress in that darn closet.....2 bags full. But, if the phone rings (or anything else for that matter) I find myself doing something else instead of getting back to that closet!

BTW....when did my pants all shrink?

I bet you would LOVE participating in the Seaside yard sale. But, you are going to have to haul all your crap all the way here to be in it? Well, might be worth it! maybe you can have your friend buy two tables so you can have plenty of room.

Community yard sales are terrific.. I found people love to pick up the little nick nacks, kids bedding/comforters, CD's, jewelry & beads leftover from those projects you never do anymore, ceramic bowls & kitchenware, cookbooks... and I sold a bunch of cooking magazines that I just had to finally let go.

oh, I bet that show would teach a thing or two... I need to check it out. I'm not a hoarder (quite the opposite), but I'll bet it shows some whacky situations!!!
