I'm back! (nice that ya'll missed me ).

Busy, busy holiday & just now getting caught back up at work. Checked out from workplace on 12/15 and didn't look back ;-) Thought I was going to get to wind down but between much "honey-do" and "family-do" and whatnot, said wind-down didn't begin 'til after Christmas. Got consumed working my ongoing "finish the basement" project and all of a sudden it was 01/02/2006 and time to go back to work again!

Since then (and prior to Christmas), just about every spare "computer minute" I had was tied up dealing one way or another with our subdivision HOA - I foolishly allowed myself to be elected Pres. last Sep at point HOA control transitioned from developer to homeowners. Lot of work getting things set up properly and learning about a lot of stuff (about most of which I would have preferred to remain blissfully naive ;-))...

Glad your ok and back. The ladies are begining to take over the boards. Hell, now instead of blonde girl jokes they are posting blonde guy jokes! What's next? I shudder to think

I lurk a bit now and then but have been pretty busy trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up. I'm glad you all missed me...I'll try to be a better friend and say Hi more often.

you are correct, and I should have known because I was there in Vernazza and saw the bouquet and all in person on CJ's wedding day! I just wasn't seeing it in that small photo (need my glasses ). thanks!

yes, CJ figured out who the mysterious SJ was in real life. Then we met him and he was not this older gentleman with great wisdom and a grumpy side. He's just a regular Pt Washington local dude like the rest of us! wearing jeans and some t-shirt and birkenstocks and a hat. and always smiling...

Just how old (or young) is SJ. He does have great wisdom but I think the grumpy side is just his annoyance or frustration when a post seems or is incorrect. SJ seems to be in the know.
