What did y'all think? I'm not sure what to think. We watched with some neighbors, and the comments were mostly "What the he!! is that?"

We liked the skier made out of people- that was cool. Especially when it jumped. (Didn't there use to be a SoWaller named Skier??)

We were a it confused by the heads-on-fire guys (Montana- you liked that one, huh?), the Ricola guys, who were the old men blowing on the gigantic pipe looking things (and there were several pot jokes here- cauldron-size, etc), the Tree-men (freaky), Carla Bruni (isn't she the mother of Mick's last spawn?), and the Armani wearing past Olympiads.

Love the Tomato kid.

I'm multi tasking..... watching the Olympics, watching the Dallas Stars game against San Jose and trying to catch up on all the threads I have missed in the last 2 days. I did think the ski jumper made of people was cool!

I hate to admit, I clicked back and forth from this to "What Not To Wear". I also liked the skier made of people and always love the march of atheletes when you see the countries like Bermuda with ONE participant.

Let the games begin....

See, I wasn't really "missing" it. Sounds like it was as good as the SuperBowl halftime show.

Didn't get to see it, we were at our school's all-school variety show. Say no more.
No, maybe I should...
It was a solid 2 hours. Li'l Pea #3 sang a song with his kindy class about saving the trees, it (he, naturally) was really cute. Li'l Pea #1 performed a White Stripes-esque electric guitar and drums duet with his best friend; a song written by my boy. I told Mr. Pod it's all over now, all the girls in school now know he plays guitar.
It was variety in the true sense of the word--a little tae kwon do, some hula hoopin', some stepping, a Blues Brothers number performed by 2 first grade cousins that brought the house down. Did I mention it was 2 hours?

I love those! Way to go Lil Peas! My kids have a school talent show at the end of every year and it lasts about 2+ hours too!

I didn't watch it...guess I din't miss a whole lot..I did watch "Two For The Money" with my son...and I think it was more important being with him than watching the OOC. The movie, by the way, was pretty good...I love Al Pachino!! He plays such a believeable a$$hole :D

I missed the beginning. I saw the parade of athletes then the stuff after that. The dancing, balloons and the 800 HP car spinning out. I thought it was going to leave "olymic rings" tire tracks! Now that would have been impressive.
