My son is 11 1/2 and my daughter is 5. Sometimes I think she is more mature than he is. But she can be a handfull. My son is begging me to let him babysit, but I think that's because he figures he'll make millions in babysitting money. I haven't broken it to him yet, if he does get paid, it won't be that much!

Thanks for the info. Age 5 girl may be a bit easier than age 3. We are working on it....we have a neighbor girl that is 10 and it may work out that son Will is the boss and our neighbor Gabbi is the entertainment- and pay them both $$$$ (as in I am so easily gipped).

Good luck to you all . . . I just have to say I am soooo glad I don't have to think about babysitters now! All I have to worry about are call from the local PD telling me something I DON"T WANT TO KNOW! My mom never told me that once you had children, you had the worry for life. That's a LONG time!! Especially when you think you are getting close to empty nesting ---- you still worry! :dunno:

Grandma and Grandpa are on an extended vacation. I wish they'd come home!!! I miss my free babysitters. The only thing I had to worry about then, was deprogramming the kids when they got home. (They tend to get spoiled with my parents --- as it should be I guess.)

Well it looks like y'all had a better weekend than I did. I almost killed myself with a garden tiller this weekend. I wish I had it on tape cause it would have been funny to see.

OK, I'll bite - How does one inflict a tiller on one's self (absent the wear & tear on the back)? Tilling up a 70% grade? :dunno:

RO and GB, Sorry your date night got spoiled. I hope the little Otter will heal soon! I had the same experience with mine...broke his arm falling off the monkey bars at school!!! Here is wishing you all a speedy recovery!
