Be careful on I-85 south of Atlanta. It's a nightmare (and dangerous due to closed lanes, narrowed lanes, no shoulders, construction vehicles jumping out in front of you going 30 mph, and frustrated drivers with road rage) due to road construction from the Fairburn exit to Hogansville.

I do not go through Atlanta...I go east to 95 and drive down to 10

It took me all day to figure out the title of this thread....

I'll be coool. ;-) Thanks for the tip. Beachmom's hubby also will be giving me directions. Apparently they know a shortcut. Maybe it's the same route.
