I can't see Sarah's stomach in those pics. But I do know that no one knew my mother was pregnant until her 8th month and she was 5ft tall and 89 pounds.
Exercise, including hiking is definitely encouraged during pregnancy. If you're having a normally progressing pregnancy, with no signs of pre-term labor or high bp, exercise is definitely encouraged. If I would have exercised during my first pregnancy the way I did during my second, I would have been a lot healthier. In fact, I was swimming in the gulf the day before labor started for my second.
Seriously??? Do you really think the weight of the baby has anything to do with the amount of time it takes for labor to run it's course and to push them out? I've dedicated the past 5 years of my life working with pregnant women through various non-profit organizations. I've seen it take 36 hours to push out a 5 pound baby and 90 minutes start to finish on 10lb'ers. And in this case, labor had not even actually started yet.

The daughter looks about as pregnant as the teenaged girls I teach. If the size of one's midriff is the determining factor, I'm in my 320-somethingth month.
