The Bay County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple 911 calls at 12:55 a.m. Saturday morning in reference to a shooting on Thomas Drive, in Panama City Beach.
Deputies and investigators with the BCSO Criminal Investigations Division responded to the chaotic scene to find seven shooting victims. Three victims were found in the home, one in front of the house, one in the median of Thomas Drive, and two across the street from the home.
EMS responded to quickly treat and transport victims.
Several of the victims are students at Alabama A&M University visiting Panama City Beach for Spring Break.

It happens everyday why is this so different? I thought guns were the answer to every problem. Republicans and the NRA all across the country are pushing to allow guns into schools, parks, theaters, and just about everyplace you go. It would be shocking if there wasn't a gun at a spring break party. Every gun owner is a "good guy" until he isn't. Here is a list of gun violence through the first quarter of 2015.

According to the Sheriff's report, this was a house party largely attended by Alabama A & M students. One girl from Mobile critically wounded. BCSO did catch the perp, a 22 year old black male and recovered a 40 caliber handgun. He is charged with 7 counts of attempted murder.

PCB City Council passed a motion to dedicate an additional $200,000 for increased law enforcement for the next few weeks. According to some comments from the council, this problem may get worse over the next couple of weeks. Something about Freaknik, an annual black Spring party? (#freaknikpcb)

PCB has a black thug not on Spring Break problem. People that can drive here in a few hours.

Do you really know all the facts at this point? Do you know the relation of the shooter to the victims? Maybe the shooter was the one who hosted the party. I suspect most of the victims were black just going by the names. Why not wait until you know the whole story before generalizing?

Amazing that nobody was killed, some of the kids were shot three times. So from what I can tell he had to reload, fortunately he was the world's worst shot ever.

As I recall, during the Ebola incident, awhile back, this Poppy fellow seemed to be one of the few voices that said this is no holocaust, this is no epidemic. This is one isolated incident. No sky falling. This incident seems to strike me the same way. No sky falling. PCB has always got us beat in terms of shootings, homicides, spring break balcony falls, etc. The reason: more people. It's a bigger town. Case closed.
