Pearl Harbor Day

when we go to hawaii this spring, pearl harbor is the first thing i want to go see. my pop said on some days veterans who were stationed there greet visitors.

I remember the stories about Pearl Harbor from a retired Navy Commander who was the headmaster at the private school that I attended. He was there when it happened. He said he was asleep, heard the noise, walked on the deck of the ship and saw all of the chaos. What I remember the most is that he said he was wearing silk pajamas at the time.

Also Pearl Harbor reminds me that the next day is the anniversary of when John Lennon was killed, 12/8/80.

This is an awesome experience. We all wondered what the Japenese tourists were thinking during the tour.
