Nationally hailed as “an inspiration,” and “magic for the twenty-first century,” Jeanette Andrews presents a new and thought-provoking take on the art of the impossible. Jeanette comes to The REP fresh off of performances the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and filming in Los Angeles for the Masters of Illusion television series, set to air nationally on the CW Network. In this one-of-a-kind performance experience, Jeanette will present both interactive pieces of magic and illusions choreographed to music.
Inspired by ideas about the importance of perception, this show is composed of a distinctive blend of magic with an elegant feel, and explores ideas based in Jeanette’s studies in psychology and art. Watch as an audience member’s thought’s become reality, a signed card transports across an impossible distance, a member of the audience is able to surmise Jeanette’s thoughts, and a white rose spins to life. This modern performance will leave you enthralled and enchanted.
