I wonder how down to Earth Richard is? That house is screaming at me, LIKE IT HAS THE CAPS LOCKED!
Off topic maybe - but let's say his philosophy is money talks and so does bullchit.
Secondhand I hear he started donating money to African-American churches in the district where he was tried and got off clean by a jury of his "peers".

Richard Scrushy took a walk on Tuesday. After the former chief executive of HealthSouth swept aside 36 criminal counts of corporate corruption, Scrushy announced he was going to church to thank the Almighty for what his defense attorney claimed was ?total and complete victory.?
Scrushy, who very publicly declared his Christian faith during his trial, has much to be thankful for.
Among the providence he might offer up over the outcome of his trial would be a powerful team of defense attorneys ? the best money can buy. They did their job in trying to discredit the prosecution?s case. Based on the comments of jurors, it appears to have worked.
Speaking of the prosecution, they clearly did not do enough to convince the jury of a linkage between Scrushy and corporate fraud. Convictions in these types of cases are often hard to obtain given the huge amount of paperwork and arcane procedures that must be explained simply to jurors. Why jurors voted for conviction in fraud cases involving Tyco and WorldCom CEOs and not in the case of HealthSouth will likely keep attorneys up nights. It?ll be a long time before a prosecution allows a trial of this sort to take place in the CEO/ defendant?s hometown. After the acquittal, many legal experts suggested the outcome would have been different had Scrushy been tried in another venue. But that?s a strategy for another case, possibly one involving the remaining civil charges prosecutors say they?ll bring against Richard Scrushy.
