Awwwwe. The kittens in the teacup remind me of when I was growing up and we had a cat that had two litters of kittens every year. I forgot what newborn-ish kittens look like, especially their dreamy eyes.
In the book, The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe (which I really want to read again), the one-woman play written by Jane Wagner (I think) and performed by Lily Tomlin, there's a line in which the character says somethink like "every morning I do my awe-robics" - I've never forgotten that line and there are so many good parts of that book. I love doing Awe-robics in SoWal, especially at the beach. I think the book is from the 80s and I loved it then and love it now.
