Places To Avoid

since this is in the lounge I can't give you a"thanks." But I couldn't agree more!

However, before others start coming down on trikkster, let's assume, please, that she might be having a bad day. Let's assume she's learning her way around life.

TRUE DAT!!! The locals in Nashville are bad enough! :funn: Every time I left the safety of my home I felt like I was risking my very life, and I had to go to the grocery store EVERY night after 10. The Hillsboro Kroger and the Compton's Foodland (no longer on the corner of Blair ) just got used to me showing up in my pajamas.

I go to the Hillsboro Kroger as well. The only time I avoid going in there is the first Wednesday of each month. It's Senior Citizen Day and talk about slow traffic. :roll:

The Harris Teeter is on the corner of Blair now. The best time to go is after work on weekdays. It might be crowded but it's like a social hour for singles.

aviod the places with the tourist crowd. i found out that they usually up prices and it takes awhile to get your food unless you are a patron.

Perhaps before the edit all this made sense. I should think that more than "taking a while to get my food", I would be SOL on getting it at all unless I was a patron.

Do you live near the Teeter? (I'm sure it's much nicer than Foodland was--it was nasty, but convenient!) I was on Blair Blvd. for a couple of years, and at Belmont for 4 years...I miss it sometimes...
