Let's get the ball rolling. Fist one to ten recipes gets 100 posts. :D

For those of you who have a gazillion posts and could care less you get a big thanks and a kiss, unless you have a hairy face then you get a hat or a Tee shirt or a beer or something. :D

Post each recipe in a new thread here - http://www.sowal.com/bb/recipes

I love this idea. Here is my favorite etouffe recipe to start things off.
1 lb. crawfish or shrimp
2 cloves minced garlic
1 stick butter or margarine or half and half
1 medium onion chopped fine, 1 celery stalk chopped fine 1/2 bell pepper, chopped fine
Green onions chopped fine, Parsley chopped fine
1 1/2 TSP tomato paste 1/4 C brandy 1 TSP Tony's seasoning 1 C chicken stock 1 TSP lemon juice seasoned salt cornstarch & cold water for thickening as needed.

Melt butter & margarine in skillet. Add onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic and cook until soft. Add green onions & parsley and cook 15 minutes more. Add seasonings and tails or shrimp. Cook 8 minutes, add brandy, chicken stock and lemon juice. Add Cornstarch mixture to desired thickness. Cook 5 min. (all over moderate heat) Serve over rice.

Kurt!!!! This is wonderful. I know I would love it if people would post recipes that are simple to do, for those of us who don't eat out every night in SoWal and don't want to lug the kitchen sink with them.

If I post twenty recipes, can I get all of the above? J/K.....I need another hat though. ;-) But, I sure would love a kiss, and you know how much I love beer. Geez, this is so hard to decide. :D

I love this new forum though. Can't wait to see all the recipes! YEAH!

I love this! I'll never have enough posts and posting recipes is a helluva lot easier than trying to find Grumpy again. :D
