Minnie, one of my cousins received that same diagnosis many years ago at about the same age. She made a full recovery and is now a healthy wife and mother. St. Jude is awesome and cutting edge regarding treatments.

I'm so sorry that that little angel has to go through this Minnie. It's just not fair. St Jude's is probably about the best place she could be for childhood leukemia and I know that it's so scary but the cure rates are very high in most types so please try to think positive thoughts for her and give everyone you know love everday. When awful things like this happen, it makes us realize how precious our time is with each other. I know you will be surrounding her and her family in love and your sowal friends are here for you if you need us. Love, Cork

I am so sorry. I know how stressful this must be for everyone. She will be in the best hands at St. Jude. I know leukemia sounds scarey, but it does have a good cure rate, I will pray for complete healing. Every time that I start down the road of why for myself, I am reminded of a neighbor that is 6 with leukemia. I can't really ask why then. She is doing great, and my prayer is that Hannah will do great too. Please keep us posted.

Minnie, I'm so sorry to hear about Hannah. This is so young to be going through this terrible disease. I just can't imagine how the parents are getting through this. Posting for prayers on the board is such a great support system to have. Please keep us updated on her progress. Is she in St. Jude yet? If not when does she go? Our thoughts and prayers will be with you too!

Kat,

She will be checking into St. Jude this week. Her family lives in my home town and that is about 80 miles north of Memphis, so they will be close to her.

Hannah and her mom, Pam, will have to stay there during treatment as she is too young for out patient. They will have to monitor very carefully her reaction to the treatments and not let her get dehydrated.
