I forgot about the arm in the crutching scenario! Assumed he'd be mostly healed except for the leg by March.

Deer hunting is easy - they take him in on an ATV and he hunts from a ground stand w/ a cell or radio to call someone in to retrieve him/deer.

oh BB I've missed this thread and so sorry to hear about Steve! a leg and an arm! its not going to be a quick recovery, but with his attitude he'll heal well and in good time. i'm so glad he's still with us!!! you all must have been so scared.

a beach getaway will be very healing if he's getting around good enough by spring break. I hope you bring him down and play the nurse. pete is the doc. he'll be in very good hands. we'll supply some food, right allifunn?

Not sure about rust, but saltwater is great for healing. Come on down!

Well, looks like we will be finding out.

He gets to go home at the end of this week, looks like we have our work cut out for us, they are sending him home in an ambulance. I printed out this thread and took it to him, ummmm, I kinda got this look........you talk to ax murderers online? Then he gave me this look........he really appreciates all your thoughts and prayers....I told him we prayed him out of it. :D

Guess what I'm getting? SJ, I read they have excellent fiber for weaving. *hint* *hint*

We are going to an alpaca show in Shelbyville, TN the first weekend of March, anyone else wanna go?

Why does this feel like we've suddenly moved in to a MLM pitch?

Love you BB, but seriously, where in WaterSound are you gonna keep these things?

I know they are! My sister said tonight I could put tiara's in my alpaca's hair. :D

He has a lot of physical therapy ahead and we will know in two weeks if he has to have bone grafts. If he does, do you know they cut the bone typically from the pelvis or iliac crest?!
