Prediction: No Housing Bottom Until 2010

NYU economist Nouriel Roubini predicts the housing crisis will cost the government one trillion dollars before it's over, and that housing won't bottom until 2010. Thoughts?

At this point anything is possible, but at the same time all markets aren't going to bottom at once. Markets like Boston actually started falling earlier. SoWal started its downturn at least a year before Tampa did, so it could level off faster ... or take even longer to bottom, since it is largely a second home market.
