The primary role of the Manager of Property Services is overall responsibility for the Property Services department including supervision of Property Service Agents (PSA) and oversee the stewardship of all rental units. While this is an office-based role considerable time will be spent in the field to achieve the duties and responsibilities listed below.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for supervision and training of all Property Service Agents, Property Service support staff and the Assistant Manager of Property Services.
  • Consistently uphold the three pillars of Benchmark Management - Team, Owners, and Guests
  • Overall responsibility to ensure all units are up to Benchmark standards for guest and owner arrivals and ongoing property care.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding process for new units/exiting units.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owner associations.
  • In coordination with the Property Services Assistant Manager review scheduling, work orders and tasks for all units to verify accuracy, appropriate workflow and follow up.
  • Create and oversee reoccurring property task schedules and assignments for Property Services team and assist as needed.
  • In coordination with the General Manager, responsible for approving/declining guest damages and missing items and communicating information to the Owner Services and Accounting departments.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with all other Benchmark departments, providing leadership, and supporting a culture of ongoing improvement of systems, processes, and results.
  • Build a strong working partnership with the Owner Services Department to facilitate a consistent level of care for Benchmarks Owner's Property.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.



Qualifications:


  • Vacation rental experience or relevant experience required
  • Software experience preferred: HubSpot, Breezeway, Microsoft Office, Escapia, KeyData, and Trello
  • 4-year degree preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Prior leadership experience building collaborative teams
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail and decision-making skills
