This video on Youtube called "Too Dumb to Mock: Democrat Hank Johnson Wonders If Guam Will 'Tip Over and Capsize'" says it all. He is afraid that the island will capsize. It is commendable that the Navy Admiral didn't laugh out loud at him.

I'll be much less inclined to let folks know I'm from Georgia after this....

When I first heard about this story I thought that someone was making a big deal about nothing. I thought the congressman was making a joke. But after hearing the audio and watching that video, I can't help but shake my head in disbelief. :shock: I do feel sorry for Georgia, but I am more concerned with this man making decisions that affect the country. What are you going to do.

I heard about this last week and laughed hysterically! Afterall, what good is a politician unless he or she does something to bring a smile to your face?

I think he was trying to make an issue over the huge number of people that the Navy wants to deploy to Guam by using sarcasm as his vehicle of choice. Unfortunately, he is so deadpanned that there's no way to tell if that's what he meant or not. After the fact, that's how they tried to spin it.

The first thing that came to mind when I heard the clip was the following video. The main difference is that my video is done by two comedians. Hank Johnson is, unfortunately, not!

Actually that was the Navy's Pacific Fleet Admiral. If, you are referring to the gentleman that was having difficulty making eye contact, as he alternately held back laughter and scanned for hidden cameras, to make sure he wasn't being punked.
